Lunchtime Downtown Food Truck Season Returns to Campus Martius


Downtown Street Eats, the popular line of lunchtime food trucks in downtown Detroit, kicks off Monday for the 2022 season at Cadillac Square and Woodward Esplande.

Now in its 10th season, the 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday event features a rotating lineup of more than 80 food trucks and carts. Food trucks will also be available during special events.

There are a host of food truck offerings serving everything from seafood to burgers, pizzas and mac and cheese. New to the downtown scene, Khalipha’s mobile kitchen with halal beef ribs and lamb shanks and the Egg Hunt food truck with chicken and waffles, shrimp and oatmeal, burritos for the breakfast and biscuits and gravy options. The event is sponsored by the Downtown Detroit Partnership and runs until mid-October.

Here is the lineup for launch week from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cadillac Square:

Monday: Lemonade & Beyond, Los Dos Amigos, Smoke Ring BBQ and Stix & Stone Pizza

Tuesday: Little Brothers Burgers, BL Ellis Catering and House of Mac + Impasto

Wednesday: Lemonade and Beyond, Los Dos Amigos

Thusday: Rolling Stone Wood Fired Pizza

Friday: House of Mac, Little Brothers Burgers and Los Dos Amigos
